By reading this agreement the client understands that he/she has reviewed the A Fear of Heitz web site and/or his portfolio in person and is hiring A Fear of Heitz based on his style of photography as represented by his body of work.

It is also understood that all of A Fear of Heitz' work is technically guaranteed. This means everything the photographer controls is covered. Re-shoots will only be granted due to technical issues (including, but not limited to: malfunctioning equipment and lab errors in processing). Re-shoots will not be granted based on dissatisfaction due to the style of the final products. Wardrobe decisions by client do not constitute grounds for a re-shoot (see 3. below). Missing “looks” or wrong “looks” decided upon by client but later disagreed upon by agent do not constitute grounds for a re-shoot (see 4. below). Dissatisfaction with makeup does not constitute grounds for a re-shoot (see 5. below).

Wardrobe is the client’s responsibility. It is important to provide of a broad range of clothes. The photographer is not responsible for unsatisfactory results due to client lack of preparation. Furthermore, the final wardrobe chosen on the day of shooting will be made with the client’s full participation and agreement. Wardrobe decisions by client as agreed with photographer will not constitute grounds for a re-shoot.

Marketing strategy and all around basic attitude is the client’s responsibility. Possible looks for showcasing various markets are discussed during the consultation and then finalized with the client’s full participation and agreement on the day of the shoot. Agent disagreement with client’s choices of looks as agreed with photographer, does not constitute grounds for a re-shoot.
Note: It is the client’s responsibility to speak up during a shoot if he or she is not happy with the direction of the shoot including any issues with squinting, etc.

All makeup is approved by client BEFORE the photo shoot. Dissatisfaction with makeup after a shoot is not grounds for a re-shoot. If the services of a makeup artist are not needed, it is the client’s responsibility to let this be known to A Fear of Heitz Photography at the TIME OF BOOKING THE APPOINTMENT FOR A SESSION.

Client understands that if more time is needed for a photo session than the allotted time for the package being purchased, the client will be billed accordingly for each additional hour.

In addition, all final high resolutions images made for the purpose of duplicating will have a small copyright mark that shall not be removed under any circumstances. High resolution images are not included in the original package and will need to be purchased separately for images prepped for the press.

The client also understands that online proofs and all files on the DVD, which is given to the client, are raw uncorrected, unedited samples of the final custom high resolution image. For the client, the proof sheet is to serve as a guide in deciding what to choose for a final high resolution image. Brightness or lack of it on a monitor, a proof sheet, or on machine printed proofs, is in no way representative of the final custom high resolution image.
